as posted in a diferent topic, i hwae windows 7 64bit sistem, and like a few ppl hawe also 2 sec log on and nothing, reinstaled the client and nothing.

Splash screen crash issue:
It's enough to edit the prefs.ini file in application data directory (c:\documents and settings\user\local settings\application data\ccp\eve\c_program_files_ccp_eve_tranquility\settings) and delete BrowserCache= line. All ingame settings remains and the game is running.
I dont even have "BrowserCache=" in my prefs.ini  So then it really should be working. Hmmm!
Then remove whole prefs.ini file. It's only few graphics settings in it, nothing so important...
removed the file and it works now! tnx
well it worked once :) not teh second time

Now to CCP: Hope the trouble is being solved for most folks here and that the issues in dominion are not too hard to fix at all. The number of players online last sunday tells more about the game getting better and most of the players being able to log in...
i pay for those pixels. and want at least an answer. and usualy after every patch there are issues. wich should not suposed to be. bug over bug , that is all i have to say
